Excursion to the Dudutki Ethnological Museum complex
The Social Program of the first day of the Conference will be devoted to acquaintance with the country and starts with
visit to Dudutki. This Ethnological Museum complex is located at about 40 km from Minsk. Dudutki is a museum of
Belarusian rural culture, which represented many national crafts - and even also about the people who fabricate this
crafts. In the museum you can visit this IOPC and see how early forge horseshoes and armor. You can watch the work of
the potter. You can taste the cheese, prepared expressly for the local creamery. And cheese that is well used as starters
for another feast in Dudutki - Samogon. On the territory of Dudutki is the only one in Belarus moonshine apparatus,
which officially authorized to make this hard liquor. Throughout the rest of Belarus Samogon is made only “informally”
on a « If you want, you can» way. However, the administration allowed officially, of course, adds to visitors confidence
in the safety of the product. If a tourist buys a full tour of the museum, it is the entire Adventure at the century-old mill,
which offered one attraction - the rise to the top of the mill testing Samogon at each of the four stairs on the road to the

Visit to the Opera and Ballet Theatre
The National Academic Grand Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus (Belarusian: Нацыянальны
акадэмічны Вялікі тэатр оперы і балета) is located in a park in the Trinity Banlieu of the city of Minsk. Local people
call it the "Opierny Teatr" (Belarusian) or the "Opera and Ballet Theatre". The current theatre building was opened in
1939. It was designed by the Belarus architect from Leningrad, Iosif Langbard, whose original design was only partially
implemented and some design details were omitted yielding to financial and other problems; the theatre has reliefs
done by Zair Azgur. Conference participants will attend The Marriage of Figaro, comic opera in four acts by Austrian
composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

City Excursion
Excursion acquaints with the city-hero Minsk, its past and hereby. In a course of excursion you learn about more than 900-years
history of the city, about its occurrence on pages of annals, its basis and revival after numerous wars and fires, about state of
modern compact city. Excursion acquaints with the Top city - the historical centre of the Belarusian capital above which tower the
St. Spirits Cathedral of Virgin Mary of XVII century and the Cathedral Catholic church of XVIII century. You will present, what
Minsk was earlier, having visited in Troitsk suburb - recreated manor of old city

Beer tasting tour of the Alivaria brewery
Olivaria brewery (also known as Olivaria or Alivaria, Belarusian: ААТ Піўзавод Аліварыя) is one of the oldest
breweries in Belarus, and is the oldest of presently existent breweries in the country. It was founded in 1864 in Minsk.
The brewery has a 29% market share in the beer market in Belarus, and its primary product, Alivaria-brand beer has a
market share of around 18%. Production increased by 43% in 2008, and in 2011, the brewery was in third place in the
market share of beer in Belarus (see also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olivaria_Brewery).
